Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake 357g – Authentic mountain and forest flavor
1. General Introduction
Việt An Trà's 357g Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake is crafted from wild ancient tea buds growing in high mountain regions, where the cool climate and mineral-rich soil allow tea plants to thrive naturally, untouched by chemicals.
2. Origin and Ingredients
Harvested from Shan Tuyet ancient tea trees, hundreds of years old, in the high mountains of Northern Vietnam.
Utilizes healthy tea buds and leaves rich in tea sap, ensuring optimal natural fermentation over time.
No industrial processing, no artificial flavors, no preservatives.
3. Processing Method
Harvesting: Tea is hand-picked from ancient tea trees growing in high mountains.
Withering & Enzyme Deactivation: Preserves the original flavor, giving the tea its raw essence.
Hand-pressing into cakes: After scenting, the tea is pressed into 357g cakes, firmly shaped yet allowing sufficient air circulation for natural fermentation to occur over time.
4. Flavor & Characteristics
Aroma: Fresh scent of young tea leaves, blended with mountain and forest notes, subtly hinting at honey and light fruits.
Taste: A mild astringency at first sip, gradually transitioning to a deep, lingering sweetness.
Tea Liquor: Pale yellow when young, gradually turns honey-gold with age.
Evolution: The longer it's stored, the more the tea cake will naturally ferment, developing richer flavors, smoother texture, and deeper sweetness.
5. Storage & Brewing Instructions
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high humidity to allow the tea to continue its natural fermentation process.
Brewing Instructions:
Use approximately 5-8g of tea for 200ml of water.
Use water at about 85-95°C, rinse the tea once before brewing to awaken its flavors.
Steep for 10-30 seconds depending on preference; can be re-steeped multiple times, with each infusion offering a fascinating variation in flavor.
The 357g Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake is not just a tea, but a living masterpiece that continues to evolve and refine over time. It is dedicated to those who appreciate subtlety and wish to experience every stage of flavor development through the years.
