Wild Shan Red Tea – The essence of wild ancient tea trees
Wild Shan Red Tea is a particularly rare tea, appearing only one season a year in the 2nd and 3rd lunar months. The tea is harvested from wild ancient tea trees, growing naturally in virgin forests, nestled among bamboo thickets, cardamom, camphor trees, and wild orchids.
Origin and Characteristics
Wild ancient tea trees, with slender but robust trunks, live symbiotically with many forest species, absorbing nutrients from the pristine forest soil.
The special growing environment gives the tea a rich, distinctive flavor, making it most suitable for processing into red tea and wild white tea.
Harvested entirely by hand, each tea bud is a crystallization of nature and time.
Flavor & Characteristics
Aroma: Distinct notes of orchid and camphor, bringing a feeling of lightness, depth, and wildness.
Taste: Rich and sweet, with a subtle natural tartness, creating a delicate balance and a long-lasting aftertaste.
